John got to be part of the big gravity wave discovery some moths ago!<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>The ride out of town was really easy compared to most large cities that I have visited. After a while, however, the roads turned into very busy thoroughfares, with no shoulders. But, I made it. It started to get dark around 4:30, and **cold** as well. It&#8217;s always easier for me to sleep in a cold tent, and I relished the z&#8217;s. The wind was pretty bad, however, and one of the straps on my rain fly was torn off (it is easily fixed).<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>This morning (11\/19), I headed north to join up again with the Southern Tier cycle route, and headed east to the town of Franklinton. This one makes pallets.<\/p><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>The local police department in Franklinton is part of the Warm Showers network and I intend to camp there tonight!
