Talks coming together!

Hi Folks,

The talks for the ride are coming together. So far, I have 4 public lectures scheduled:

April 3, 2016. University of Wyoming, Laramie, Wyoming.

April 8, 2016. Central Wyoming College, Riverton, Wyoming.

April 11, 2016. Greybull, Wyoming. Details TBD.

April 16, 2016. Bozeman Public Library, Bozeman, Montana.

I am encouraged by the enthusiasm and support that is being offered to me by the organizers of these lectures. Here are some of the places that I intend to solicit lectures (but have not done so yet):

It seems like I can’t make a post without some images, so here is one from a recent ride to Carter Lake, a favorite destination with a nice climb near the end:

Carter lake was quite frozen! Here’s another picture taken on a ride that was not so fun. On a ride up to El Dorado Springs, I was literally blown off of the road by what must have been a 60 mph gust of wind. (I was riding a racing bike at the time; my touring bike would have NEVER been blown off the road.) My bike went down a ravine–I did not.

In the same gust, two other people were blown off the road. One person suffered some injuries. I am thankful that mine were only superficial!
